SortStack - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SortStack (the "App"), a color/tube sorting puzzle game developed by Furkan Sabri Çetinkaya ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the App on iOS or Android.

Summary

SortStack does not require you to create an account and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information on our servers - because we don't operate any servers. All game progress (levels completed, stars earned, streaks, settings) is stored only locally on your device. The only data collection that happens is performed by Google AdMob, the third-party advertising service we use to show ads in the App, as described below.

Information we collect directly

We (the developer) do not collect, receive, or store any personal information about you. SortStack has no login, no user accounts, no analytics SDK, and no backend server. Your gameplay data - level progress, best move counts, star ratings, and Daily Challenge streaks - is saved using your device's local storage (via the standard shared_preferences mechanism on iOS/Android) and never leaves your device or is transmitted to us.

Information collected by third-party advertising (Google AdMob)

SortStack displays advertising through Google AdMob to support free play. AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect certain information when ads are shown, including:

• Device identifiers (such as your advertising ID / IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and engagement with ads)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Google's EU User Consent Policy. On supported devices and regions, SortStack presents an ad-consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) so you can control whether ads are personalized before any personalized ad data is collected.

You can opt out of personalized advertising, or reset your advertising identifier, at any time through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Children's privacy

SortStack is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If SortStack's App Store or Google Play listing is configured for a mixed-audience or "designed for families" category in your region, ad requests for users identified as children are served in accordance with Google's child-directed treatment settings (no personalized ads), as required by COPPA and equivalent regulations.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar regional laws)

Because we do not collect or store personal data ourselves, most data subject requests (access, deletion, correction) will need to be directed to Google as the data processor for advertising data - see Google's privacy policy linked above for how to exercise those rights. If you have any question about SortStack's own data practices, you can still reach us using the contact details below.

Data retention

Local gameplay data persists only on your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App or clear its local storage. We do not retain any copy of this data, since it is never sent to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The "Effective date" above will be updated whenever this policy changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
